Penerbit USM Partners With Baker & Taylor In E-Book Distribution

It’s a great start to year 2020 for Penerbit USM with the addition of its latest distributor, Baker & Taylor, for e-book distribution. Asaleading scholarly publisher in Malaysia, e-book publishing has recentlybecomeone of its latest ventures in the effort to reach a wide audience.

As part of Follett Corporation since 2016, Baker & Taylor has become a trusted distributor for publishers, and provider of books, digital content and technology solutions for libraries.

With this partnership, Penerbit USMis looking to explore more opportunities, especially in the distribution of e-books for libraries. Currently, Penerbit USM has more than 1000 titles and is now actively publishing e-books in sciences and humanities.

With about 300 titles set to be distributed by the company, Penerbit USMhopes to add more titles to increase its visibility, especially in the US. The e-books will be in the EPUB format and are expected to be available for purchase through Baker & Taylor by April 2020.
